Trains, history and print…

The Deutsche Bahn Museum in Nuremberg is excellent! Nuremberg is the home of the first train tracks in Germany between Nuremberg and Fuerth (1835) and of course also gives insight into its history since. The museum is nicely layed out and takes one on a historical tour from old trains from the 19th century (including the only remaining original wagon of the ‘Ludwigsbahn’) through to the role of the train transport in first and second world war to the expansion of tourism and the reunification of Germany.
